The Heart. An instrument—perhaps THE instrument. Godly one in nature. Beastly in drive. One organ. Two halves. Four chambers. Essential to life and thought to be, by many, the seat of the soul.

It’s at an embryo’s 4th week that its heart begins to develop. Randomly rapid irregular contractions of a mass that takes form long before the mind produces a thought. A clock that signals measurement of life within a new genesis. When it stops…one ceases…

For the second installment of The Art Of Darts, Phraim takes aim at the heart’s byproducts; emotions. He draws back bow and releases the range of energy that emanates from this abstract fist sized muscle nearly centered between the lungs. Such vastly contrasting sensibilities along a spectrum. Love. Pain. Kindness. Crassness. Determination. Defeat. Adoration and all stops in between towards hatred.

Simple, ain’t it? Yet quite clever.
