Have you ever set your sights on something professionally? Taken time to focus on a bullseye, check your form, concentrate, visualize the target and silence the crowd before releasing while saying “Come what may…”?

Of course you have. So has Phraim. And this time he’s titled it The Art Of Darts.

TAOD was conceptualized after the release of Dave Dawn’D, the artist’s ninth full-length project published at 11:59pm on December 31st, 2022 (an intentional ploy to ‘usher in’ the new while simultaneously bidding ‘Goodbye’ to the old). Theatricality. Technically, it’s his first release of 2023, an EP and not his tenth album. That comes later…

What it is indeed, though, is the first of four planned summer drops. Vol. I of IV created to usher in/out the former while laying foundation for establishment of yet another level in Godspeed fashion. A collage with a Herculean start that simmers slowly and softly in nature to that of a lamb as the beat-maker shepherds you, the audience, from hype to one quarter away from halftime. ‘Tis the season.

So reward the engineer’s enigmatic efforts with the ‘fare’ price of admission, if you so feel inclined. It’s magic time. Phraim proves, yet again, that he’s anything but a one-trick-pony as he sets the stage for a summer-long carnival before spurring school back in session this fall.
